Scunthorpe Male Voice Choir

SCUNTHORPE male voice choir will be performing a special concert this weekend.
This event will be held on Sunday, in St Hugh's Church, starting at 3pm.
Tickets are £3, and are available by calling (01724) 341358 or on the door.
Also in December is the Grand Christmas Bazaar held in St Hugh’s Church Hall.
The event, on Saturday, December 12, begins at 1.30pm when there will be many raffle prizes to be won. Refreshments will also be served.

Car boot sale

A CAR boot/table top sale is being held at Foxhills School Technology College (FTC), on Sunday, December 13, from 9.30am to 1pm, to raise funds for a school trip to France.
Stalls/pitches are £4 and can be booked by ringing the school on (01724) 860458. There are some indoor and outdoor spaces and sellers can set up from 9am.
A small donation is the entry fee for buyers. Refreshments will also be available.

Flower, art and craft festival

A FLOWERS, arts and crafts festival will be held at St Hybald’s Church in Hibaldstow from Friday, December 18, to Sunday, December 20, from noon to 4pm each day.
The event, held in the church and church hall, aims to raise church funds.
There is access for wheelchairs and light refreshments will be available.
On Sunday, there will also be a concert, from 7pm. Tickets cost £5 and include mulled wine and a mince pie.

Brigg Methodist Church Charity Donation

Brigg Methodist Church have donated £500.00 to Macmillan Cancer Support - Brigg & District Committee. The money was raised from various fundraising activites and the cheque was collected by the Committee's Treasurer at a Coffee Morning held last Thursday. The Committee wish to thank all those involved at the Methodist Church for their generosity.

Wold Singers

THE Wold Singers are set to perform a Christmas concert in Brigg next month.
The singers, under the direction of Carole Mundy, will stage Songs 4U This Christmas Time at the Angel Suite in the town, on Wednesday, December 9.
The choir will be joined for the evening by violinist Yvonne Ellis and baritone Ken Carruthers.
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £6, which includes refreshments.
A donation will also be made to the Help For Heroes charity from ticket sales.

Reflections Christmas Concert

REFLECTIONS Choir will be holding its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 13 at Frodingham Parish Hall, Church Lane, Scunthorpe.
Members of the choir have decided to divide the proceeds of the concert between the work of The Children’s Society and Help For Heroes.
The concert starts at 2.30pm and will feature traditional carols and seasonal songs.
