Photographic group
THE Brelu-Brelu Photographic group would like to invite digital photography enthusiasts to their weekly meetings.
The group welcomes anyone who is interested in learning or has experience in all aspects of digital photography.
Members meet every Friday between 11am and 1.30pm at the Appleby Frodingham Works Athletic Club, Brumby Hall, in Scunthorpe.

Broughton Lunch Club
BROUGHTON lunch club’s next meeting will take place on Monday, November 16.
The event will be held at the Red Lion in the village from 12.30pm.
The two-course lunch, including tea and coffee, will cost £5 per person.

Oklahoma
DO NOT miss your chance to see Oklahoma presented by The Brigg Amateur Operatic Society.
Tickets are still available for the show, which will be staged from next Tuesday to Saturday.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic will be performed by the society at Vale of Ancholme Technology and Music College in Grammar School Road, Brigg.
The musical is set in 1906 and tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.
It has been playing to packed audiences all over the world since 1943 and an Oscar-winning film adaptation was released in 1955.
Winterton Disabled Club makes a Difference
Winterton Disabled Club will participate again in the national annual Make a Difference Day on Saturday 31st October 2009.
Venue: Winterton Methodist Chapel Hall from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

5 a side football teams are needed for the current league being run at the Vale of Ancholme Sports Hall on Grammar School Road.
The league is on Tuesday evenings 6pm - 8pm and teams are charged at £15 per team per week

ladies night/fundraising evening in aid of the friends of Hibaldstow school
The Friends of Hibaldstow School are holding a fundraising / ladies evening at the church hall Hibaldstow on wednesday 11th November from 7pm. There will be various stalls including jewellery, Jamie Oliver at home, the body shop,Hospice stall, handbags and candles and of course a tombola and raffle, all money raised will go toward sending the whole school to the pantomime in scunthorpe at Christmas
Wedding Fayre
A WEDDING fayre will be held on Saturday at The Rangers Football Club in Winterton from 1pm to 4pm.

Fun Day at 20-21
A NATIONAL campaign to encourage children to take up drawing comes to Scunthorpe on Saturday, October 24.
The Big Draw Fun Day will be at the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre from 10am to 5pm.
Admission is free and the drop-in session is suitable for children of all ages.

Volunteers needed
VOLUNTEERS are needed at a youth centre.
The Ark in West Street, Winterton, is on the hunt for anyone who can spare a few hours of their time.
The facility is popular with teens and has been linked to reductions in anti-social behaviour in the area.

A Criminal Records Bureau check is needed, but the cost will be covered by the town council.
Auction contributions needed
CONTRIBUTIONS are being sought for a charity auction set to take place later this year.
Sallie Woodbridge is organising the charity event for the When You Wish Upon a Star charity.
The auction will take place on November 14 at the Haven Inn, Barrow.
