Grimsby Air Cadet is a Leader at RAF College Cranwell

date:
08/17/2010

Sergeant Stephen Parry applied to the greatly over subscribed Air Cadet Leadership Course and was delighted to receive an invitation to take part in the annual ACLC held at Royal Air Force College Cranwell. It is difficult to obtain a place with only 160 cadets from the whole country being chosen to attend 1 of 4 courses held over four weeks in July. In the weeks leading up to the course Stephen admits he was worried that he wouldn’t be fit enough, but he was determined to make the grade.

Year 5 Variety Show at Old Clee School

date:
07/20/2010

I have just had the great pleasure of attending a production at old clee school, performed by yr 5 and some yr 4 children, entitled 'The Variety Show' I must say it was absolutely excellent and i thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The children and staff must have worked so very hard to produce such a thrilling show. My Grandaughter Rianne and her group performed the song 'Waterloo' by Abba, which i found to be thrilling. I found all off the performances truly enjoyable and want to thank all of the children and staff for a wonderful and entertaining performance.

Honest Young Man !!!

date:
07/15/2010

Thursday my husband and I were in Grimsby Town shopping and my husband dopped all of his money out of his back pocket, a young man 17 or 18 years old chased him and returned it to us. How refreshing. The young people get a lot of stick but there are some great kids out there too. Thanks to who ever you are !

The perfect road

date:
07/02/2010

i cannot believe what has happened with the approach road towards Immingham golf club, It has been totally re-laid from the junction of Church lane to the entrance of the club car park, I am totally disgusted with the nelc immingham ward councillors who have arranged for the work to be performed, As a resident of High field avenue Immingham who for many years has complained to the local ward councillors about the state of the foot paths in our area,

Kids entertainer is brilliant!!

I would like to nominate Andy Carr of Andytainment for service with a smile! He entertained just shy of 30 children at my sons 5th Birthday party and did a brilliant job. His enthusiasm is fantastic and i especially loved the toilet roll game as did my son who is not always confident enough to join in. Great Job Andy!!

BEWARE

date:
05/21/2010

Last night an email came into my box, from HSBC banking, with regard to a discrepancy on my account.
Thankfully I do not bank with HSBC.
But I have drawn the conclusion that someone is either hacking in to email addresses, or some unscruitable person is selling them.
I am not easily conned but some are so BEWARE.
