Humberston Avenue - Disgraceful

date:
12/29/2009

My son, wife and I were totally disgusted by the sate of the road and footpath down Humberston Avenue. The road was re-surfaced only a few months ago but today for certain stretches there is more loose chippings in the centre and side of the road and indeed on the footpath than where it was actually intended to be, on the surface of the road!

New Year resolutions? Volunteer for Samaritans

date:
12/28/2009

It's the time of year when many people consider a New Years resolution. Some people join the local Gym or begin diets to lose the Christmas excess, some people vow to quit smoking whilst others may consider taking up a new hobby or interest. It's the time of year when so many resolutions are made - and broken! But how about trying something different in 2010 and volunteering for the local Samaritans?

New Biker group in town

date:
12/09/2009

I am the founder of the Young two wheelers and trikes society which was formed only three weeks ago. We are currently trying to encourage more members in order to help and support local charities and are very keen supporters of the north east lincolnshire motorcycle action group which help local charities and stop the laws that restrict freedom to bikers. our membership is only £10 a year which is nothing to anyone but all funds will cover running cost of the group and the rest to charities in lincolnshire.

Great Service By A Local Estate Agent

date:
12/14/2009

After two years of getting absolutely no where in renting my house out in desperation I called a prevalent agent's board in the local area. They had many boards up and I guessed they must be doing something right.

I wasn't wrong! After a number of more high profile agents had given me their appraisals, one stands out as doing exactly what they said they would do:

They had the property rented for much more than I thought possible and far better still were able find a investor buyer to take the unit on for 11% more than expected.

SERVICE WITH A SMILE

date:
12/09/2009

I just want to say a BIG thank you to Roy Spall and his employees at Brereton Motors in Cleethorpes .
I recently purchased a car from them and have never come across such professionalism.
Nothing was too much trouble, and all done with a smile!!
In the times we live in, one is always unsure as to who is genuine and who isnt. I can truthfully say hand on heart that I found this particular Company to be a genuine one and would not be afraid to recommend them to anyone seeking to purchase a vehicle.
Wishing you Roy and all a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year! You deserve it.

I would like to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone for helping me to raise money for my Late Mothers Memory Mohinder Kaur Virdee.
Without all these people I couldn't have done it.
Firstly I would like thank our local M.P Austin Mitchell for all his help and for supporting me all the way for 2009.
A very special thanks to Simon Faulkner for all his excellent articles, and also Telegraph photographers and staff for all their hard work.

Car Crime Cretins

date:
11/29/2009

My son's car was stolen from Caistor Drive, on the Nunsthorpe Estate, sometime on Saturday night. This might seem to be an everyday occurance to most people, but do these car thieves think about the consequences? Do they care? Is there any real deterrant?
They might have had their 5 minutes of fun, but at what cost?
