Vicious Labrador
Was out walking our two dogs on sunday afternoon in weelsby woods, we walked to the car park and on approaching one of our dogs was attacked by a Yellow Labrador. The owner was a lady who could not control the dog, she let go of the lead three times causing her dog and mine to have a fight whilst her and the two men just stood there. We shouted our dog away which he did when she let go of the lead again her dog attacked our dog once again this time my partner had to step in by kicking her dog out the way to seperate the two dogs.

Immingham Girl Needs Votes in a Nationwide Beauty Pagent
Larrisa Riba needs your votes as she endeavours to make the final in an online beauty pageant.
Larrisa, 14, had a fantastic week during August 2009 when she achieved a GCSE Grade A in Expressive Arts and then got the call to say she had been short listed to attend a Photo Shoot for the Teen Queen UK competition in London.
coal dust
Is anyone else as annoyed as I am with the coal dust in Immingham. Not only thick black dust on the window sills and washing line, but the kids trampoline and outside toys are very black and dusty. I am having to keep windows shut as it is on the inside sills, I washed the sills within a couple of hours they were covered again. The dog which is a golden labrador looks a grey lab, so you can imagine her paws trapesing around the house on all my carpets etc. Needless to think what we are breathing in each time we go out, it makes conoco look like an air purifier.

Light a candle on World Suicide Prevention Day
Thursday 10th September is World Suicide Prevention Day, an initiative of The International Association of Suicide Prevention and co-sponsored by The World Health Organisation, and supported in this country by Samaritans.
There are many ways in which we can individually mark this global event, but one of the easiest ways is to light a candle near a window at 8pm on Thursday 10th September, in remembrance of those people who have died by suicide.
TOUGH GIRLS!
Three local ladies and two from Vancouver, Canada are attempting to trek Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest free standing mountain at 5,892m at the end of September. The trek has been a long held ambition for both Lesley Parry and Tina McKay, who will be supported on the trek by Tonia Saunt and Dawn Tonge and Mary-Jane Broad. The three local ladies are all members of Cleethorpes Athletic Club and so are pretty fit individuals, having completed many road marathons and mountain marathons in their time. The party fly out to Tanzania on the 22nd September and commence their trek on the 24th.
